Talking about dolines undoubtedly we need to speak about Hydrogen Sulfide clouds which are very common on these environments at depth.
“”The Amazing Pit”” as some of us call this dive is a great combination of a doline that drops to 100 feet/30 meters to the beginning of that amazing cloud.
With surreal sights followed by lasers of light coming from the main entry descend to two different Haloclines on your way to the Cone of Debris.
Where you can find the typical tree like in Angelita´s dive to later on begin your ascent towards the ceiling of the site, full of stalctites and some different cave entries that connect to other systems around the place like Dos Ojos.
After a little drive on the dirt road around the same area inside the Ejido Jacinto Pat, we get to our second spot and dive called Nicte-Ha ( Water Lili in mayan language) .
Called also High Voltage cenote as there is on the parking an electrical tower that supplies the area with energy.
Challenge your buoyancy on this shallow dive of about 20 feet/6 meters max as it is considered a more close cenote but with amazing formations and beautiful views from the entry areas on the lilies. Visit the remanent bones of an ancient Tapir, a mayan pig like.
